Let's take it back to '09 what an amazing year, the Steelers win the Super Bowl, Drake drops "So Far Gone", Obama becomes president (we'll talk more about that later) and Toronto has a new vibe about it. In '09 the idea of a pop up shop was new to most and worked really well for our followers who wanted a new shirt or a Christmas gift for someone special.
Brock and I decided to put all the pre-ordered t-shirts under the Christmas tree and for everyone else we had some 'adult' eggnog waiting while you shopped. At a time when an online store wasn't in our grasp and a traditional store front is just too conventional, the pop up shop worked best. It was more than just a point of purchase, it was an experience, it was a meet-and-greet, it was an autograph signing, and it was a time for all of our fellow doers in the city to hang out in the name of one love.

@iluvlola
Looking back at these photos so many of these people are doing exactly what they set out to do. It's amazing to see these Toronto kids playing at the level they are now. For example, @iluvlola @cocoandcowe are just two of the many influential women that have supported us from the jump. Then you have @futuretheprince & @preign who are both living their dreams reppin' Toronto on the world stage. The idea of 1 LOVE T.O. was always meant to be inclusive, so it's no surprise that our followers interests and expertise have no boundaries and cover everything under the sun.

Words from the homie P. Reign:
"I remember waking up every Sunday morning to my mother bumping bob marley when she would cook breakfast. And the song that always stuck with me growing up was one love. Not because it was An amazing song but because I believed in the words. So naturally when one of my closest friends made an inspiring decision to start the movement I was all for it from the beginning and still am. Not to mention I bought a bunch of those overpriced 1 LOVE T.O. shirts from the beginning. Not only for me but for my son too."
To everyone that stood in line for a t-shirt over the years, we appreciate you and you are forever a part of our highlight reel, One Love.
