It’s official, Toronto is getting a lot greener as of January 31st, 2010. On May 26, 2009 Toronto became the first City in North America to adopt a bylaw to require and govern the construction of green roofs on new development (residential and commercial). The bylaw goes into effect at the end of this month and promises to be one more step in the right direction for the city of Toronto.

    Great idea. Toronto needs to keep the green side. Our city is beautiful and there’s no need having it look like a dull, grim, slum. Holla — Check out the music. Support local artists
