Toronto’s own Nelly Furtado teamed up with Florida’s own Flo-Rida for his latest commercial single called “Jump”.

Who would’ve thought Nelly would take the commercial route to stardom when her first album dropped? She gave us that indy-fresh inspired by hip-hop and world music vibe, only to dumb it down and sex it up for the radio and club night attention-deficit drunk masses with her sophomore radio hits. Can’t hate on her success though… UNIVERSAL knows how to milk the mainstream, and she is one of few Canadians with international commercial success in the hip-pop and RnB music realm… this record should shake’em in the clubs for at least a month… still, she ain’t no SANTOGOLD.
By the way… she’s a resident, not a native, to this city.
