3 Generations of Urban Portraiture

This past Friday, May 1st 2009, I made sure to hit up the CONTACT Photography Show “3 Generations of Urban Portraiture”, featuring Toronto’s own Steve Carty, Che Kothari and world famous New York photographer Jamel Shabazz. It all went down inside the Jerome Jenner Gallery located at 2880 Dundas St. West in the Junction. Needless to say, the show was a huge success. Take a look at the video and you’ll see what I’m talking about!

Absolutely lovely. I actually never knew what Steve Carty looked like!! The music in the video is purrfecto and the shots do the amazing work justice (kudos RENNNNNNNNNNNNALDOOOOOOOOOOOOOO). I was scrolling through the pics then I saw the Beenie Man one and I was like DANG I WAS THERE FOR THAT SHOOT!!!
